Sourcing of paper
Paper is essential for our products. We partner with suppliers who share our dedication to responsible resource management, community support, and sustainable production. Thus, our goal is to buy all our paper from FSC® certified mills.
Corrugation
Corrugated products are made from corrugated fibreboard, which is a material that is both rigid and cushioning. It is made by combining a corrugated medium with a flat liner using heated rollers.
Conversion
UCIC has different types of converting machines such as Master Flexo, Rotary die-cut, Flatbed die-cut, Flexo folder gluer, speciality folder gluer, speciality stitching and corner post. Box styles in UCIC are typically defined by FEFCO specified codes.
Printing on the boxes
Printing plate (Cliche) and die-cutting patterns are prepared in Cliches and die shop, on a large flexible sheets of rubber or tin. The cliches and dies are loaded onto the large rollers in the printing and die cylinder and the box blanks are automatically fed through it. As each blank passes through the rollers, it is trimmed, printed, cut, scored, folded and glued to form a different type box.

UCIC is operating with 5 manufacturing plants (2 in Jeddah & 3 in Riyadh) with state of the art facilities which ensures supply security to its customers (multi plant locations).
On-time delivery
We deliver on-time in full as per the agreed lead time, manage urgencies and have a reservation facility for 12 months based on our customers' forecast.

Quality is our Top priority and we aim to achieving zero defect. UCIC is ISO certified for quality management, safety legal compliance, environmental management systems, HACCP, FSC® and BRC Global Standard for Packaging.
